Step 1. Type in Power in the search bar in the taskbar. Choose Power & Sleep Settings

Step 2. Click on the Additional Power settings on the right side under Related Settings

Step 3. On the left side you should see an option that says, Choose what closing the lid does. Click on that.
*Note* It is not showing that option in the picture below since I am not on a laptop, though it should be an option to choose from.

Step 4. It should bring up a screen similar to this one below and you would change the drop down box to “Do Nothing”
